There is a translator:
http://babelfish.altavista.com/

Basically, you can just paste the content and translate them into chinese...
80% ok if you want to translate formal document.

Not very good for conversation, but i hope it may help you a little bit.
Anyway, practise makes perfect.
You can try to type more in the next time.
As you know, there is a lot of great people which can help you here.

Oh...sorry.
There is a grammar mistake in using "either".
Please be careful... It makes different meaning or confusing people.

first, reading some newspaper articles instead of reading a whole book
next, listening to the TV programmes is a way to study English
then, speaking in English can  also improve your speaking skill
finally, writing more English can train your spelling and writing technique

though I know these methods can improve my English standard
I am lazy to do such kinds of thing- -

I think you need to read more engliah book for f.1-f.3 .
You do not need to understnad all the english words.
The improtent things is you know the meaining about the book.
You can try to think the meaining yourself.

Wow, You are in the US and you spell it wrong?
It's the United States, and what are you? Researcher right? You could have said you are DOING a professional research.
I don't agree with reading is the best way. I think talking with someone who knows the language is better.

giee 2007-11-27 14:22

watching movies really helps
and if you are just starting as a beginner, just turn on the english subtitle and you know remember the words before you know it!

Thank you for correcting my mistake.
The research wasn't I did.
I was told by some ESL instructor in the U.S.

I don't get your idea about "and what are you",
and I have never said I did that. Don't be too clever and challenging.
I know my English is weak, but doesn't mean you are even better in every way.

P.S.: Please don't let your words make people feel uncomfortable, since you are not the best of the world.
